Volunteer Commitment

I understand that volunteer service with CSYE is unpaid and does not guarantee employment. I agree to follow applicable CSYE policies, act professionally, protect the safety and dignity of youth, and complete required screening and training before an assignment begins.

Confidentiality / Nondisclosure

I will protect nonpublic information learned through my CSYE duties, including information about youth and families, participant records, internal operations, donors, and other confidential materials. I will not disclose, copy, publish, or use such information for personal or outside purposes without authorization. I will safeguard it and return or securely delete it when directed. These duties continue after my volunteer service ends. Nothing in this agreement prevents disclosures required or protected by law, including reporting suspected child abuse or unlawful conduct.

Protection of CSYE Relationships & Information

I will not use confidential CSYE contact lists, donor records, participant information, or internal plans to solicit people for an outside organization or personal venture. This does not restrict me from volunteering, working, or participating with other organizations, or from using relationships and information obtained independently and lawfully.
